Talking Music started in 1979 with the import and own production of modern Christian music. Among others, the groups Dynamis, The Information, SideWalk, Leviticus and Simon Ådahl were recorded. For a number of years from 1986, the label was almost dormant, but has resumed in earnest again in 2001.
