The album was originally released in 2007 as a CDR by ExAlternative Recordings. It was released on vinyl by Vinyl Remains. On June 17, 2008, it was released by Retroactive Records who also released the Collector's Edition in 2009. It was then re-released by Shawn Browning's (Wretched) label, "Rottweiler Records" in 2011.
If you like your gothic/horror hard rock spiked with a little arsenic and a healthy dose of dark humor, check out Be Afraid! Band members Dr. Cadaver, Nameless, and Maggot offer you chainsaw guitars, super-tight arrangements, and blatant morbidity wrapped around insanely catchy choruses. Wretched provides elite vocal skills in a mesmerizing Danzig/Rob Halford sort of way! For fans of Alice Cooper, Type-O-Negative, The Misfits and Danzig!
This digipak version of "Be Afraid" is the album's 3rd iteration, the 2nd version released by Retroactive Records. Because the original cover artwork by "Orkki" was deemed offensive by Christian bookstores and retailers, this alternate version was used for the digipak version instead. Also, the version of "Love Hurts" included here as a bonus track is the same version that appeared on the "Love Hurts" 7 inch release.
Recorded at T.T. Bush Studios

Be Very Afraid

Fun album! Be Afraid delivers a casket full of horror-punk goodness. The songs are fun and the message is clear. Not sure what my favorites are but I have not heard a song that I do not like. Great album, great band... check 'em out!
