Straight Thru Your Heart

"Straight Thru Your Heart" is a demo tape by the band Regime, featuring eight songs that were originally recorded on 4-tracks. The CD re-release, released by Retroactive Records in 2005, includes some songs enhanced with new guitar solos, BGMVs, and rhythm guitars added. The album was engineered by Robert Valdes at Arvee Studios, with additional guitars and vocals engineered and recorded by Tom Young at Mohair Studios. Live songs were edited and EQ'd at Mohair Studios. The demo tape was initially put together by former Soldier lead guitarist Rick Hunter and keyboardist Dan Tatum, with Robert Valdes joining the band later. The album showcases the band's talent and has been praised for its sound quality, with some songs being considered some of the best sounding 4-track recordings.
