Album Info
Idle Cure had parted ways with guitarist Chuck King, who left to co-form the band Shout. The writing, timbre, and even album title reflect the paradigm shift in musical direction. Tough Love was a much darker, somber, and more reflective offering.
Additionally, the band had been moved by their experiences with an evangelical mission in Europe, and the material herein is very much indicative. With all this going on, Idle Cure's ability to grow musically and spiritually is nothing short of remarkable.
Mark Ambrose - Rhythm Guitar
Pete Lomakin - Keyboards
David Huff (White Heart, Giant) - Drums
Tim Heintz (General Kane, The Northern Lights Ensemble) - Keyboards
Eric Marienthal (The Rippingtons) - Saxaphone
Bill Baumgart (Liaison) - Backing Vocals
Bob Carlisle (Allies, Billy Thermal) - Backing Vocals
