Surprisingly awesome...

Well, here's another album by Liberty N' Justice. I'm going to be totally honest, when I heard that this was an acoustic album I was almost disappointed from the start. I mean, LNJ put out one of the best albums last year in my opinion. It featured some of the best frontmen in the business. It is going to be hard to top and I didn't think that an acoustic album was going to do it. Now, after a few dozen listens, I'd like to withdraw that statement! This is an excellent album! Yes, it is another star studded gem with a few returning guests such as Jamie Rowe, Ez Gomer, Pete Loren, and Mark Slaughter; as well as some great new additions such as John Corabi, Jack Russell, Jani Lane and more. Let's give this baby a spin! The first track is called "Doubting Thomas" sung by John Corabi, formerly of Motley Crue, Ratt, and Union. This song has a nice groove to it and starts the album off very nicely. The next track is called "Monkey Dance" and is sung by Great White's Jack Russell. This is one of my favorite song on the album. Jack has an awesome voice and shows no let down at all here! The third track is called "Soldier" and is sung by Kelly Keagey of Night Ranger and Mark Slaughter of Slaughter. This is another great song. "My Sacrifice" is the next track and is sung by Line of Fire's Shawn Peleta. This is a nice ballad. Great song. Pete Loran of Trixter rock us with the next track; "Phoenix". This song has a nice poppy feel to it, very nice. Next is the title track handled by Kelly Keeling of Baton Rouge and TSO. This song has a nice rough feel to it. Next track is "Meet My Monster" sung by Tony Mills of TNT and Shy. This is another cool tune and one of my fav's. Track eight is another great ballad; "Praying for a Miracle" is sung by Ted Poley of Danger Danger. The next track is called "Fade" and sung by none other than Guardian's own Jamie Rowe. Jamie does an exceptional job on this mid tempo rocker, like we'd expect anything less! The next track "Bullet, Train, Breakdown" is sung by Jamie St. James of Black N' Blue and Warrant. This is another cool rocker. Now, the next track, "Addiction" is sung by Warrant's Jani Lane. This is the track I was interested in the most when I first saw the line up. Very good song! Probably my favorite. Track twelve is "Wake the Dead" featuring Jet Circus' Ez Gomer and Rainbow's Toney Carey. This is definitely a different song. It's almost got a dance feel to it. I found my foot tappin' occasionally. I really missed Ez's thundering bass. "Snake Eat Snake" sung by Neon Cross' David Raymond Reeves is another nice tune. I thought it had a pretty cool feel to it. The final track is called "A Little Bit of Love" and sung by Mark and Shannon Hovland of Hovland. This is a nice duet. Kinda has that pop feel to it, but very nice. Overall, this is a great album. If anyone can put out a killer album full of some of the greatest vox on the planet, then turn around and go acoustic with some more of the best singers around, it's Liberty N' Justice. I highly recommend it!
